Ups and Downs: Memorial Day

Wrote the 10th song for the record today. Well, I guess 11th, but one is just me and my ukulele and I don’t know if it’ll make the record. I’m really happy with this one. Matt wasn’t there today because he had to move out of his apartment so he’s coming tomorrow and we’ll throw the finishing touches on it.

We decided how much merch we’re ordering for the next two tours today as well and let’s just say that my credit card is not a happy camper. We print exclusivly with Leave Your Mark Printshop (www.lymprintshop.com) in South Florida right now which means that, unlike a lot of bands, we don’t get any merch fronted to us for tours. I really think Jared does the best work I’ve ever seen and he’s one of my favorite dudes in the world but with no fronted merch, we put everyone on my credit card. That means that if you come see us at a show, you should buy something, because otherwise, my credit score is going to fucking plumet.

After practice we came back to the Kennedy household for Memorial Day BBQ (pictured above) it was awesome. Afterwards, we brought our trailer to our friends in Parkwright (www.myspace.com/parkwrightmusic) as they have just purchased it from us and then went to see Star Trek. Unfortunatly, my body gave out on me somehow and I ended up spending ten bucks to leave five minutes in, vomit everywhere and feel terrible for a few hours.
